Recently, we had the distinct pleasure of working with Prestons Diamonds, a luxury family jeweller with a rich history dating back to 1869. Based near Manchester, Prestons is renowned as the local Rolex and Patek Philippe distributor, attracting discerning clientele from far and wide.
When Prestons approached us to furnish their glamorous Art Deco-style showroom on the high street in Wilmslow, Cheshire, we were thrilled to contribute to their vision of timeless elegance. The task was to create a reception area that reflected their heritage, sophistication, and attention to detail — values that align perfectly with our own.
A Bespoke Touch with the Art Deco Chesterfield
For the Wilmslow showroom, Prestons selected our Art Deco Charleston model, an iconic design known for its luxurious style and impeccable craftsmanship. To ensure every detail met their exacting standards, we collaborated with Sunbury Design, sourcing a bespoke fabric that added a unique touch of refinement to the pieces.
The project required 17 custom-made units, including a mix of sofas, chairs, and pouffes. Each piece was carefully tailored to harmonise with the elegant decor of Prestons’ reception space. The result? A welcoming and opulent setting where clients can relax and enjoy a truly elevated shopping experience. Prestons’ team was delighted with the finished look, a seamless blend of functionality and glamour.
Expansion and Future Collaborations
The success of the Wilmslow showroom design led to further opportunities to work with Prestons. They have since re-ordered the same Art Deco Charleston pieces for their new extension and turned to us for a completely different style for their newly opened showroom in Guildford. For this space, Prestons opted for our Balmoral Chesterfield, a model that exudes classic British charm and timeless elegance.
