Before leaving our factory, all our sofas are inspected to ensure they are in top condition. We will guarantee the integrity of the structure and materials of the product for a period of five years. In the rare event that you do experience any fault we will send a professional furniture expert to your home to repair your furniture to new condition free of charge. The 5 year warranty begins from the date of the delivery, as signed on your Proof of Delivery from the carriers. This may be required when claiming during that period. Please note that this does not cover you for any accidental or customer damage, or standard wear and tear. It is also important that care is taken to maintain the surface materials through regular cleaning and, in the case of leather, through feeding with a leather rejuvinator. Products must not be kept in places of excessive heat or sunlight which can damage materials over time.
For difficulties that may occur through natural usage of your furniture, or if you damage your sofa youself, we have teamed up with ISM Networks, a furniture repair specialist, to provide a warranty service for extra peace of mind. Prices vary according to the length of the warranty.
In the unlikely event of damage occurring to your furniture during the 5 year warranty period, Newman & Bright will endeavor to do everything possible to return it to the proper condition. We have teamed up with a nationwide independent specialist furniture repair company to offer a fantastic and quick repair service.
We ask you to contact us and inform us of the damage and we will take some details to book you in for a repair visit. The repair team will do their best to fix the furniture during their first visit but in some cases it may require a second visit and/or replacement pieces to fully complete the repair.
We make every effort to ensure that the repair is handled as swiftly as possible but there may be some delay in obtaining replacement parts so we do ask for your patience during this time.
Please note that under the strict terms of our warranty, if the repair team concludes that the damage to the furniture is as a result of accidental or customer damage, you will be liable for the cost of the report and/or any repair that is completed or due to be completed. If you are unsure as to the cause of the damage please contact our customer team on 0161 667 9562 and we will advise you on the best course of action. The repair team does take into consideration the length of time that you have had the new furniture before concluding as to the cause of the damage.
By agreeing to a visit from the repair team you accept that these costs may be claimed back from you if it is concluded that the damage down to accidental or customer use.
If your new furniture is out of warranty but you do require a repair, we can arrange this for you at a cost to be agreed with the repair company.
