Contempo standard: Made on Brazilian hides. This corrected grain leather offers durability, a soft hand feel and good stain resistance.
Perfect for all types of upholstery, including residential, office and the hospitality sector.

Shelly: +10% Made from high quality European hides. This vibrant range has been produced with a pigmented topcoat and embossed with an attractive grain print to enhance its character. Providing outstanding durability and stain resistance, this multipurpose leather is suitable for all types of upholstery including heavy duty applications.

Rub off: +10% Rub Off is a semi-aniline leather with a rub off finish, produced on European hides. It has a traditional topcoat, a darker colour, which can be rubbed off to reveal a lighter underlayer. This unique leather allows the base colour to show through creating an antique look with a uniform finish when sealed.

Selvaggio: +20% Selvaggio is a superb, natural leather. It is lightly buffed and carefully brushed with special oils and waxes to give a soft buttery feel. This leather lends itself to all types of upholstery.

Vele: +20%  Vele is a semi-aniline leather contemporary range that has been developed in conjunction with leading design experts to reflect current colour trends. Hides offer excellent durability and light fastness making this leather very easy to maintain and extremely durable.

Old English: +20% Old English is an aniline finished, lightly buffed pull up type leather giving a warm and aged look. This is achieved by tanning with a special blend of oils and waxes, giving it its distinctive crackled and distressed finish. This superb, ever popular leather really highlights the hand-crafted nature of upholstery with its instant. And proven heritage appeal.

Cambridge: +20% Cambridge is a two-tone textured leather with a soft smooth handle. A subtle contrast in tone is visible by applying a slightly dark topcoat to the grain tips which enhances its character. It is the perfect choice for all types of upholstery.

All our models from our Urban Collection have the following additional options:

Feet - Our sofas have been designed with the feet pictured but if these are not to your taste they can easily be changed. Additional feet options include: front and/or back castors, chrome feet, polished silver feet, plastic feet thjough there may be a small additional charge. Please discuss everything you need with our sales team.

Cushions - Our standard seat cushions are made with high grade foam in various densities; we regard this as the optimum type of filling. We do though have other options asuch as fibre, foam with fibre wrap and feathers.

Piping - Where the model includes piping we can offer this in a contrasting colour at an added charge. We can also replace the piping with regular stitching if preferred.

Size - As most of our sofas are bespoke made, we are in most cases able to adapt the width and height according to preference.

How do I place an order?

We do not take orders by email as we prefer to discuss the order with you, the customer, in enough detail to understand your preferences and specifications.

We will then email confirmation of the order for your verification and approval.

How much do I pay and when?

Once you have decided to place an order, we will require a deposit of 30%, with the balance of the payment payable prior to actual shipment.  We will send you images of the completed product before it is dispatched.

How long will my order take?

Your order will take 7-8 weeks to produce.

Art Deco models take 8-10 weeks.

Designer models take 8-10 weeks.

If your order is of a particular urgent nature we will endeavour to provide you with a quicker delivery time.

How long does shipment take?

Shipping is within 7-10 days of completion of your order.

How long does international shipment take?

Shipments to Europe take approximately 2 weeks.

Shipments outside Europe take from 4 to 8 weeks depending on destination.

How is my order delivered?

Our UK deliveries are handled by specialist furniture carriers and are all “two-man white-glove” deliveries.

The service includes:

• Call to book a delivery in advance
• 3 hour time window for delivery
• Delivery to the room of your choice
• Unwrap and check
• Light assembly
• Removal of packaging from premises

Standard corner suites are classed as 3 items for delivery - other configurations may incur an additional charge.

Scotland - AB, DD, PH, FK, G80+, KY, PA20+, SA20+

Please note that all the above charges are subsidised by us as current carrier rates for large items of furniture have become very costly.

Your Delivery

We use specialist furniture carriers as a matter of policy and endeavor to ensure your furniture arrives in pristine condition. All items are protected in transit to minimise possible damage occurring. However, to cover all eventualities, it is normal practice in the industry to ask customers to sign a disclaimer form before the delivery team enters a property. You also have the option of the team leaving your furniture outside your premises.

Things to be aware of when checking your new furniture:

1. Make sure that the wrapping around the new furniture is fully sealed and please make a note on the Proof of Delivery (POD) form if there is any damage to the packaging.
2. Whilst the packaging is being removed: Please keep an eye out that no damage is done to the furniture and that any cutting of the wrapping is done carefully.
3. Once the furniture is placed in situ make sure that you are happy with the location and with the installation of the furniture (including any light assembly that is necessary). The delivery team will not be able to come back once they have left the premises.
4. We do not want you to feel rushed when checking your new purchase. Take your time and inspect every part of your furniture, as this is the time to note any damage. If you do notice something unusual please call the Newman & Bright office on 0161 667 9560 and we will advise you if we are available. Otherwise, please make sure that any problems are noted on the delivery note, as retrospective claims for damage CANNOT be accepted.
5. If you are uncertain about anything at all during your delivery, please try calling us while the delivery team is still on the premises.

Please retain your POD as all warranties begin from the date of delivery.
